Shared photo album and details for Friday Night game under the lights

I have setup a shared Google Photos album for Falmouth Rogue photos that you can view and share photos to. Click over to the album to find photos and upload any good shots from this season that you may have taken.

We are playing our next game under the lights on Friday night on the Falmouth turf stadium behind the elementary school. Please invite friends and family to come and watch Rogue play on Friday night. We will be introducing the players on the field over the loudspeaker so I’d love to get lots of fans in the stands to cheer. I will be encouraging the players to invite their friends and to wear their team jerseys to school on Friday. We have the field from 7-9pm and will start playing around 7:30 after warmup and introductions. Please make sure your players are at the field, cleated-up, and ready to warm up by 7pm.

And a good bit of news for next season— I am setting my schedule with the Falmouth gym teachers to teach ultimate to their classes next year. It looks like I’ll be teaching the 4th grade in the fall and 5th and 6th grade in the spring, so by the time the 2017 season hits, I’ll have taught every Falmouth 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grader. That should be helpful in filling out our roster next year!

Directions to game in Scarborough

We’re playing against Scarborough this afternoon. Players should be there no later than 5:15 to get ready for our 5:45 start time.

Here are directions from the Scarborough coach:

Wentworth field: coming from the Sopo/ Scarborough exit of 295, take Route 1 south to the Oak Hill intersection. (Intersection of Route 1 and Black Point Road.). At the light make a right turn onto Route 114. On your left will be the turf stadium. You will pass the tennis courts too. Make the next left at the library. Then take the first left to circle back around to the turf stadium. On you right will be Wentworth school playground. Our field is behind the brick maintenance building. there is some parking at this building and overflow parking can be found in the adjacent Wentworth school parking lot. In the winter it is our ice rink if that helps anyone.

Directions to Wainright Fields for Monday’s game

Our game on Monday, May 11th, is at the Wainright fields in South Portland (Google Map link). The walk is a bit long at Wainright as we are playing on the field all the way down from where parking is. Click on the map below for details on where to walk after parking. Please plan on arriving with your players by 3:40pm for our 4pm game start time.
