After your run, back home to throw with a parent or sibling or other member of your household- 100 forehands, 100 backhands, 50 scoobers, and 50 hammers. Then it’s a minute of spinning the disc with each hand.
Today’s game is a fun one! It’s between New York PoNY and the Buzz Bullets of Tokyo, Japan, who have long been that nation’s top ultimate team.
Players- you might know Marquis Brown Lee, who is a player on the PoNY squad, from his very popular tech YouTube channel, where he goes by the handle MKBHD.

What a day Falmouth Rogue!
We’ll all be heading out today at 3pm for our individual team runs- again- NO MEETING UP WITH ANYONE ELSE! The only people you are allowed to jog with are people living in your home- so it’s cool to drag along your sibling or mom or dad for the jog, but not with a friend or neighbor.
We are running to Playlist # 2 today- again, no worries if you are not able to run with music. Just head out for a jog that lasts at least 20 minutes.
After you get back from your run, it’s time to throw- 100 forehands, 100 backhands, 50 scoobers, 50 hammers. Then spin the disc on each hand for one minute, then it’s game time!
Today we’re watching a game between Boston’s Brute Squad and San Francisco Fury for the 2019 National Championship Semis. Players should watch at least 30 minutes of the game- bonus points if you see the whole game.

We will be running tomorrow to Playlist #1. If you don’t have access to Spotify on your phone or device- no worries! You just want to run for twenty minutes starting at 3pm. Remember- no running with other players or neighbors. We all need to maintain social distancing, so runs should be solo or with a member of your family. IMPORTANT- check with your parents as to where it is safe to run around your house. Stay out of the road!
After the run, find a partner to throw with and throw 100 backhands, 100 forehands, 50 scoobers, and 50 hammers. Make sure you are setting proper pivots on each throw. When you are done throwing, practice spinning the disc with your left hand for a minute, then your right for a minute

Since everyone is at home right now, I thought it’d be a good idea to kick off our virtual preseason early, so I shot this video with some things that you can do to get better at ultimate while you are by yourself; you just need a disc! In this video I mention team runs- I just wanted to be clear about that- we are NOT going to be running together as a team through April, but we will be scheduling times where everyone goes out individually for a jog while listening to the same playlist.
